Bernadette Nelson, principal of Studio B/Visual Communication, is an award-winning designer with over 20 years of experience in the graphic industry.

Prior to founding her own studio ten years ago, Nelson worked with Hank Beck at Printtable, Inc. in Stamford, CT - where she designed material for Pitney Bowes, GTE's Main Street Interactive Television, Gem Communications and other corporate clients.

Nelson's experience spans two countries: France and the US. In Paris, she worked on prestigious accounts such as Lanvin Perfumes and Fashion, Albert Ménès Gourmet Products, etc. Fluent in French, she also works in Spanish and other languages, which is a big help to several of her international clients.

Studio B successfully carries out a wide array of multifaceted projects from concept to final production and caters to clients in different fields:

Other past clients include Meals on Wheels of Stamford-Darien, Inc., and the Norwalk Seaport Association - a local non-profit organization with an education and preservation mission supported by the famous Oyster Festival.

Nelson is the recipient of a Silver Medal from The Association for Women in Communications and of an Alliance Award from the Connecticut Press Club.

She is a current member and board member of Fairfield County Public Relation Association (FCPRA). She served several terms on the board of the Entrepreneurial Woman's Network (EWN) where she was instrumental in creating a web presence for the organization. She regularly attends meetings with organizations such as the World Affairs Forum, PRSA, FNEW, The Fairchester Resource Group and Our Breakfast Club in New Haven.

Nelson keeps her technical skills up-to-date by participating in diverse professional seminars and workshops several times a year.
On the personal side, Nelson is a Professional Ski Instructor of America (PSIA-Level III) and teaches expert adult classes for the Killington Ski Club, VT on weekends.
